Town of Plam Beach is a 2025 Top Workplace! 2 Years Running

For the second consecutive year, Town of Palm Beach  has been awarded a Top Workplaces  2025  honor by South Florida Top Workplaces. This list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage  LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few..  

Cigna

2024 Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation - Gold

The Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation recognizes that a commitment to employee well-being and vitality can impact everything from employee health and satisfaction to company productivity and business performance.

The Town’s wellness platform, in addition to the programs and plan coverages we provide to our employees, was evaluated by Cigna. To achieve the gold level, we met the following criteria: 

  1. Senior leadership that offers extensive support of the well-being program (personally participates in activities/challenges)
  2. Many programs/resources that support various dimensions of well-being
  3. Many worksite policies and accommodations to create a supportive culture and safe, healthy workspace
  4. Many methods of communication that actively engage employees and promote the well-being program

Mental Health America

2025 Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health - Silver Level

The Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health is a national certification program that recognizes employers who are committed to creating mentally healthy workplaces through their insurance coverage, wellness programs, available counseling and resources, and policies. Led by Mental Health America’s rich history in research and advocacy, the Bell Seal’s holistic evaluation of employer practices considers the entire employee experience.

 

The Bell Seal certification evaluates how each organization supports their employees’ mental health and well-being through comprehensive criteria in four sections: Workplace Culture, Benefits, Compliance, and Wellness. Our goal is to gain a clear understanding of the entire employee experience and award recognition accordingly. MHA wants to celebrate and elevate the Town’s commitment to creating a mentally healthy workplace. By receiving the Bell Seal Silver level recognition, the Town is communicating its commitment to employees and the communities we serve.

American Heart Association

2025 Well-being Works Better - Silver

Well-being Works Better™ is a curated solution that empowers employers to foster, evolve and continuously improve a healthy work culture and environment. The American Heart Association provides a suite of health and well-being practices, tools, and resources that assist the Town’s team to reinforce our workforce to thrive, be aware of good health practices, and ensure success with a healthier workforce.

The application for this designation was scored, awarding points for various programs, policies, and practices we incorporate through benefits, wellness, and the Town. For the first year in applying, the Town received the silver level, which will also be recognized on their Well-being Works Better website.
